BODY OF WORK: WOMEN CARR THE SKY, 2020/ON GOING

This body of work is a tribute to women as mothers and creators of life.

As a mother, this collection feels very personal to me. Through these works, I want to celebrate women and their strength, beauty and unique ability to create life.

I am particularly interested in connecting the female figure with celestial bodies, as women, like all human beings, have natural rhythms that can be connected to the cycles of the universe.

At the heart of this work is the idea that the female body carries one of the greatest mysteries and one of the greatest powers: the ability to create life.
